I thought I’d start a series that gave annual tribute to the national championship winner*.  It’s (obviously) not going to be Michigan every year, or maybe not even soon, so I have to do something to fill the football gap.

Anyway, here’s this year’s tribute:

Congratulations Florida Gators.  You are probably, almost certainly,  the National Champs for 2008 – 2009.

*Ohio State and Michigan State fans should not hold their collective breath
